The old ways are going to come back
I was talking to my wise friend about a project idea. During the conversation, he made a prediction that I resonated with quite a lot. Below is his that, verbatim:
I feel like the old ways are going to come back. I feel like touch and feel, theater, storytelling, listening to more (heart).. That kind of stuff. People are going to gravitate towards something innovative.. artisanal.. something nice.. something that is not preachy at least. There's a fatigue about 'giaan pelo' (sermoning)..
people are going to go away from that overt giaan to more real authentic sharing.. listening.. feeling.. that kind of essence. That's my sense. That's always been my sense.
